Monthly meet 4: Review

The fourth Exposure Leeds meeting took place on the 3rd June with over fifty people attending.

Being a technical session (as part of LSx09) the focus was on learning new things. John Dolan provided a beginners guide to Photoshop, and John Wood provided a similar session on Nik software’s CaptureNX. This was rounded off by great presentations from Nick Efford and Jon Eland on HDR techniques and Microsoft’s new photo stitching software Photosynth respectively.

The Leodis session included a great discussion around ideas for improving and developing the amazing social history archive.

The inaugural print swap was also a great success with more than twenty hard copies of work for exchange.
