We’ve now been running the ‘Weekend Coffee Break’ casual photo-walks in Leeds since last summer and we’ve had a lot of great feedback on how those taking part have enjoyed them. They’ve also been great in showing a wider audience the benefit of an Exposure Leeds approach to photographic sharing and socialising.

To build on this and to spread our net a little wider our May photowalk event will see us leave Leeds… in a dual event in both West Yorkshire and further afield in Scotland!
In West Yorkshire, Anne Akers will be leading the local contingent over to the Saltaire Arts Trail festival in Bradford, where we have been invited to tour the works on display and interact with those enjoying the events.
Mirroring this at the 3 Harbours Arts Festival on the coast near Edinburgh in Scotland, Jon Eland will be returning to lead the walk for the second year.
This is the first year that both events have fallen on the same weekend and so you will find elements and activities that will link the photo-walks together – and giving you a chance to make connections with photographers in another area of the British Isles.
As normal this event is open to all – and all cameras are welcome; from cameraphones to disposables through to more expensive gear. Just come along and have fun!
