Talk&Social | Photocamp starts here…

In a bit of a change from the norm we’re having an alternative take for our monthly Talk&Social session.

We’ll be ending this social with a creative photography session – so bring your camera along! (If you remember ‘Play’ sessions in the past, this will be similar)

Exposure Leeds is developing all the time and based on your continued attendence we must be doing something right! However, with autumn around the corner, an imminent membership scheme and Photocamp Bradford* in just a few weeks we thought it would be a good time to look at what you like and dislike about the group. So, we’ll start the evening with a short workshop where everyone break into small groups and share their thoughts and aspirations for both Photocamp (see below) and Exposure Leeds.

Photocamp is a weekend of events in Bradford’s National Media Museum and Impressions Gallery that brings loads of photographers together in an unconference format to share ideas, experiences and tips on photography. Combining presentation, discussion and workshop sessions with plenty of socialising and networking opportunities – it’s no surprise that, at the previous three Photocamps in West Yorkshire that more than 90% said they would attend again and recommend the event to a friend.

  • When: Wednesday 4th August – from 6.00pm-9.00pm (talk starts around 6.30pm)
  • Where: Old Broadcasting House, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 9EN - Directions (note: Woodhouse Lane car park closes at 9pm)
  • Entry: £2 (includes hot drink, subject to availability) – booking is not required. But you can optionally register on Facebook.
