Bradford has excellent transport links (does any city ever say otherwise?)
By car:
- Bradford is very close to the M62 – from j26 take the M606 and follow signs for the City Centre – which will take you passed an Asda, after which you’ll turn left and go down a long hill on a multi-lane carriage way. As this levels out follow signs for the Interchange Train / Bus Station.
- Continue passed this turning left at the Hilton hotel.Your have a choice of car parks
- The secure Hall Ings NCP multi-storey immediately after/next door to The Hilton (£5.30 per day, £4.00 night rate)
- The council car park behind the Jacob’s Well pub (take the left lane in front of the pub turn left, and then take the left at the lights, left again and immediately left into the car park).
- Jacob’s Well car park is open 24-hours, £3.50 for the day, 50p overnight. Free on Sunday. No stay limit
By train:
- Bradford has two train stations, the Interchange is very close to the Media Museum (under 5 minutes walk) and Forster Square is slightly further out – 15 minute walk. Refer to National Rail Enquiries for train information.
By plane:
- Leeds Bradford International Airport serves the city. Note; it is not especially close to Bradford – a 15-30 minute drive. Airport taxi information.
Hotels
We aren’t able to offer special deals with any local hotels, however Hotels.com are offering local hotels with rooms at around £40-£60 per night. The Hilton, Jurys Inn and Express by Holiday Inn are all within walking distance.
Lunch and Evening Meals
We aren’t supplying lunch this year – however we can suggest the following options:
- A picnic area will be provided in the conference area; and a separate public picnic area is to be found on the Ground Floor
- The National Media Museum has an excellent cafe (also on the ground floor)
- A selection of eateries can be found in Centenary Sqaure, a short walk away – see ‘Starbucks’ on the map link, below.
