Photocamp Leeds {2011} is our great big social and sharing event for all those interested in photography in Leeds and further afield.
Exposure Leeds have successfully run five Photocamp* unconference events in West Yorkshire. This year’s event sees the presentation, discussion and workshop day return to it’s original home at Old Broadcasting House in the university area of Leeds.

*A photocamp is an open, sharing and friendly unconference – where the delegates also run the sessions, where the agenda is decided on the day and where sharing experience is more important than self confessed experts.
Saturday 3rd September sees us in Old Broadcasting House with a day split into several time slots, and with a variety of spaces in which those attending can choose to run their sessions. A discussion board before the day will give those interested in running the session a chance to share their ideas – and get feedback.
We will also arrange a social event on Saturday for those interested in attending.
Sunday 4th September sees us start with a ‘Weekend Coffee Break’ photowalk out to Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills – where our fellow delegates will run workshops, mini photowalks and set photo project briefs – as a ‘do’ day.
Tickets are available for just Saturday or both days. Anyone wishing to just attend on Sunday can pay on the day.
Not got a ticket yet? Register on Eventbrite…
(you can also pay cash at an Exposure Leeds event or send in a cheque; email for details)
Not ready to book but want to be updated on Photocamp events?

Hi Jon –
Was just wondering if you’re looking for people to give talks still or if you’re booked up.
Lisa (leica0000 on twitter)
Lisa, this year we’re moving closer to the BarCamp unconference format; there will be a chance soon to register to deliver a session. So, the answer to your question is – plenty of spaces for speakers!
I’d like to attend the Saturday events but can’t commit due the nature of my job. Is it likely to be a sellout or might I be able to get in on the day?
cheers, John
Hi John – as things are I think there are likely to be a few places available on the day, but we can’t promise anything. Drop us an email closer to the time or check out Twitter.
Sorry to be thick, but what time does it start
Sat and Sun.looking forward to a break.
