This relaxing, yet action-packed day (work THAT out!) is coordinated with (and at) Impressions Gallery, Bradford. Both members of Exposure Leeds and members of the public will come together to creatively explore Bradford, socialise, share and have fun.
Schedule – 11th April 2010 – (the event runs 12noon – 5pm)
- Photo amble (12:30pm – 1:30pm) going out as a group into Bradford you’ll find out what great photos can be capture wandering the city centre.
- Snapping the sculpture trail (2pm – 3pm) by using the public art around Bradford City Centre as a focus we will see what creative photographs we can create with just ourselves and the environment we come across.
- Creative photography workshop (3pm – 4pm) – A fun workshop playing with props and scale to make fun and unusual pictures this will be based around the gallery and Centenary Square.
In addition Impressions will be setting up a photo hub in ‘the Studio’ (the room we used at Photocamp) this will be used to print out photos taken outside (which we will bring together to create a record of the day) and where we will also sit down with those attending to discuss photographic issues they are having. This will also be used as a social hub for people to get together and discuss photography issues while enjoying tea and biscuits.
The event is FREE and everyone is welcome to drop in throughout the day, however booking is advised for the walks and workshop – book now.
