Join Exposure Leeds as we again take part in the I Love West Leeds festival and this time we’re taking to the waves – by getting aboard two narrowboats for a photographic evening voyage on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
Get aboard in Rodley and spend an evening documenting the journey, shooting canalscapes or portraits of your fellow (captive) photographers.
Because this event has a limited capacity this is a ticket-only event… so sign up here and we’ll see you on the day.
Bring a picnic (hot and cold drinks will be provided).
The boats will leave at 6.30pm (on Weds 4th July). Usual entry – £3 (+ booking fees) – Exposure Leeds supporters get in free – contact Jon. Parking instructions will be sent nearer the event.
Don’t (ahem) miss the boat!
It’s essential you book to get your place on this event/voyage: book now!

Hi Jon … do the boats return to the setting off point? Just wanted to know what to do if I’m driving, it’s the only way we can get to the new Rodley venue on time …
Yes – the boats will be returning to Rodley at the end. It’s a magical mystery cruise otherwise… obviously limited by the canal route!
I have just purchased tickets for this. Looking forward to it. I don’t appear to have details on parking yet. Have these been sent out already?
An email will be coming out soon – but basically park near The Rodley Barge (Canal Road/Bridge Road, etc) and find your way to the footbridge – which I think is where Canal Road and Bridge Road meet. Hope this helps!
Thanks Jon. That’s most helpful.
Thanks for another imaginative and reasonably-costed idea Jon. A great way to spend a relaxed evening with a well-mixed bunch of photography types!
