This Sunday sees us celebrate ‘summer’ with the annual FLICNIC (Flickr Picnic) – and this year, as it falls in Home Tourism season, and is in Temple Newsam Park, we thought it would be great to balance our urban photowalk in Pudsey with a walk through the parkland around the house.
So, why not meet hosts, John and Jan Dolan at the courtyard café at 11:30 for coffee. The photowalk will start at 12; where you have an option to follow John’s lead around the estate or to make your own way.
At 2pm the photowalkers will join with those just coming for the picnic on the grass in front of the main house – don’t forget to bring your own eats and drinks!
To finish the day off we’ll head around the exterior of the house.
Parking info: if you park near the house you have to pay, however if you enter from Colton (or head towards the Colton entrance) the lower parking near the gardens is FREE! For more information; including prices for the farm and house, visit the Council’s website.
