Talk&Social: Street photography | Off camera flash

The next Exposure Leeds – we’re on number eight already – is already shaping up to be very interesting.

  • Lloyd Spencer will be taking the floor in the main room; giving a background to Street photography – with historical context and an insight into some contemporary approaches.
  • For those who have yet to try it (and missed Photocamp Sunday), Neal Lewis will be reprising his practical beginners guide to off-camera flash. This will be limited to 16 places; so if you want to be in this group you need to email in to request a place – and ensure you arrive before 6.30; otherwise we may offer your place to someone else!
  • Mark Skeet (who delivered the Urban Portraiture workshop earlier this year) is coming back again to give his take on using Adobe Lightroom to manage  your photographic workflow. Places on this will be limited – sign up when you arrive (from 6pm on 7th October) to ensure you get a place.

Any volunteers to do a short ‘My Photographic Passions’ talk in the closing segment?

All three presentation will take place at the same time.

The event will be on 7th Oct 2009 at Old Broadcasting House; with access from 6pm – talks start at 6.30pm

Note: to ensure the Exposure Leeds sessions are sustainable we are now implementing a small, trial, levy for anyone attending of £2 for the evening – this will include a hot drink from the machine.

If you attend and don’t feel you gained value from your investment, get in touch!

NB: There will not be a printswap at this Exposure Leeds
