Talk&Social: Technology special

Announcing the next Exposure Leeds event – a technology special with sessions on…

  • – Getting Started with Photoshop (if you want to do this – might be worth bringing photos on CD/memory stick) – Jon Dolan (JohnFotohouse)
  • – Developing Leodis and local social photography – Mike Wallis (Nalsa)
  • – Capture NX - John Wood (JohnSWood)
  • – Photosynth (having a camera will be an advantage!) – Jon Eland (Strawbleu)
  • – HDR - Nick Efford

In addition there will a print swap – bring along one of your prints and take away another of your choice in return!

How does the Printswap work?

  • Turn up with a print and hand it in to the greeter (write your name and flickr / email address on it – you may make a new contact!)
  • Receive a sticker in return – write your name on this and keep it ‘safe’
  • While you’re in the sessions a volunteer with turn the prints into a temporary gallery.
  • At the given time all the exhibitors get the chance to peruse the exhibition and select their image (first choice is final)
  • At the end of the evening you take your chosen print home!

Beyond this there will be the usual noticeboard, information on the upcoming photocamp and networking / socialising opportunities.

June 3rd; 6-9pm @ Old Broadcasting House, Woodhouse Lane, Leeds
