Not Rick or Mike...
The complicated act of getting back to basics
aka – the Composition and Exposure sessions
Well, what an eventful week – first the amazing turn out for Exposure Leeds #1, then I attended a great first session of a multi-session workshop held by Pavilion and now I can announce the next Exposure Leeds event.
As the title says it’s based on the concept of back to basics – or more specifically the fact that ‘back to basics’ isn’t always as simple as one would expect.
A few years ago I attended a workshop on creativity. Now, as a person who does problem solving creativity on a daily basis, I was stunned at not only how much I’d forgotten but also how differently other people approached ‘being creative’.
Based on this I approached Rick Harrison and Mike Wallis and they have agreed to cover their thoughts and experiences with the ‘dark arts’ of composition and exposure.
If you are coming along I ask that you show interest on Facebook or Upcoming (see links, below)…
I am also awaiting volunteer(s) to do the 5 minute/10 image ‘my photographic passion…’ session – go on… why not step forward?
Cheers, Jon
