Following the successful competition, here comes the exhibition!
The winning images identified from the hundreds submitted, along with a selected number of further images have been brought together to be seen in the windows of Dyson’s Chambers on Lower Briggate in Leeds. The three winners were John Dolan, Graham Pile and Jamie Williamson.

Jon Wakeman of East Street Arts (who brought the competition and exhibition together) commented on behalf of the judges: “We where bowled over be the high quality and variety of works submitted to 21st Century City, and it pays tribute to the level of activity and interest of photographers in the city to engage and share their work.”
Dyson Chambers is part of East Street Arts’ In Situ temporary exhibition programme while it finds new tennants following a recent renovation. Eamon Fox, associate director of DTZ, who are handling the leasing of the building added; “We are delighted just to be able to play a part in bringing more culture to Leeds City Centre.”
The exhibition opens with a private view as part of Exposure Leeds’ Talk&Social event on December 1st 2010. If you are unable to attend this, it can be viewed from the street from December 2nd. The exhibition is due to close on 31st January 2011.
