In the second of our ‘events’ series following the Street event in February – this is an all day conversation around the subject of portrait photography.
With a wide range of discussions, debates, practical sessions and appreciations planned – you’ll find a whole set of great reasons to share your thoughts, ideas and experiences in an open and friendly environment.
This is not a rigid workshop or formal training session – just a fun day with a little bit of direction to ensure everyone gets something from the day!
Bring along your gear – show everyone else how you’d get your great portraits – or bring along your concerns and issues.
If you need to know more, pop over to the Exposure Leeds group on Flickr and ask, or email jon[at]exposureleeds.org.

FAQs…What happened to the ‘strobism event’?
Simply – this is it. Having discussed the event we thought it would better serve a greater need to focus on the photographs than the technology behind them. There will be strobist evangelists on hand (and, no doubt, some kit and space to play) but this will be about interaction with subjects, what makes great portraits…

A really good and fun day, thanks to all that made it possible … will have to have a good look through the results of my ‘snaps’ now!
