On Sunday 3rd July, Simon and I spent a beautiful, sunny afternoon in Bramley Fall Park. We had a garden shed full of hats, wigs, funny glasses etc. and hundreds of people at the festival enjoyed dressing up and having their photos taken. Kids, mums, dads, grannies and even pet dogs joined in and had a great time. Sometimes queues formed when the kids were reluctant to leave the shed and let someone else have a go.
Simon and I were busy all afternoon and the only low points were the little boy who was reduced to tears when he had to give back the green fairy dress and that Simon’s nose got sunburned!
Thanks are due to Fran who supplied the shed, backgrounds and many of the props. She also kept us going with food, water and even suncream (it’s just a shame Simon didn’t put any on his nose!)
Altogether a great day was had by all and I’m already looking forward to next year.
