Thanks for sharing this Jon and Exposure Leeds.
Just to let everyone know the official opening of this exhibition is Friday 11th May from 6-9pm at Holy Trinity Church, Boar Lane, Leeds - right next to the proposed new entrance to the new Trinity Shopping Centre. This is one of the last events before the church closes for refurbishment as an arts centre as well as place of worship. The exhibition then runs from 11-18th May. be great to see you there!

It would perhaps be nice to see more people in the images but they are wonderful photographs, in any case maybe the 'quietness' of the pictures wouldn't be so evident if there were more people included. Great gallery Adam – I think you've captured the essence of industrial Leeds perfectly.

Hello!

I've recently completed the NCFE Level 1 course and I found it to be quite useful. If you don't know anything about cameras / photography, it's a great start, but if you have some pre-existing knowledge, then it probably won't teach you all that much.

The course that I completed at York College focussed more on processing using Photoshop, rather than actual photography techniques and camera skills; I personally found this to be a little frustrating. Over all the course was very good value for money and thoroughly enjoyable.

I guess that as with anything, you need to choose a course that suits your needs and skill level.

I Hope this helps.

Will.

I really liked the 3rd photo in team number one's montage, lovely bit of black and white seeming abandonment.

I also really liked the photo in the second one of the shadow underneath the railway arches (think it might have been near The Cockpit) but overall I thought the pics in montage one were better framed and focused and the black and white ones were lovely :-)

Some excellent shots in both videos. I came on a photowalk with Exposure Leeds last year but have been very slack since then. Must make more of an effort.
