Thanks to a great donation from Mark Skeet we have a significant number of filters and other photographic accessories offered for sale. These are going to be sold to benefit Exposure Leeds funds. Cash, in person, payments only.
Some of the items are being placed in a list to peruse online… here’s the list. The prices are the minimum we’ll accept for them.
This is a blind auction in that items are on sale until we feel we’ve got the best price we can for them. To make an offer, email jon[at]exposureleeds.org with the offer – feel free to list multiple items and offer a ‘job lot’ price (which should be more than all the items together.
In addition to this list there are a number of Cokin A System filter items; which will be listed later. There will also be a box of unpriced items at future Exposure Leeds events.
Every penny raised through this will go towards supporting Exposure Leeds activities.
Any questions?
How do I get my items?
Arrange to meet me, or wait for the next ExposureLeeds event.
How will you judge a good offer?
Male intuition.
How long do I have to collect the items?
At least until the next monthly meeting – longer with a discussion.
Why should I pay more than you’ve listed?
So we can put on better events! We probably won’t accept any offers at the listed prices for quite a while!

Hi there – when are the opening/closing dates for this? I fancy a go…
It’ll be staying open until at least the end of March… looking forward to seeing your response!

Hi Mariam,
I’m afraid I don’t know very much about academic options in photography – I can only suggest you contact some of the universities in the Uk and ask.
Good luck.

I had a great time, and we had a 100% turn out of those who signed up.
I’ve had some feedback and will post that soon!
In addition to the two presentations there will be loads of time given over to socialising and networking and we will also be again having an print swap…
Concept:
- Bring a print – put your name and flickrname or email on the back. (A small fee (20p) will be collected – just to cover costs)
- Swap this for a ‘claim sticker’
- Prints are ‘hung’ during the presentations
- Select the print you want to take away
- Take it with you as you leave.
A reminder that the Lasting Moment Workshop and Museum Tour will be taking place this Thursday at Leeds City Museum at 6pm. NOTE: All places are already filled.
If you signed up we will meet outside the Leeds Museum (just off Millennium Square) between 5:45 and 6:00pm. The exhibition will commence at 6pm sharp. (Should the weather be bad, wait in the foyer of the Museum).
If you are unable to attend for any reason please Flickr mail Roger as soon as possible so your place can be filled with one of the reserves.
As a reminder for what to expect from the evening, Helen Langford (Curator, Museums & Galleries, Leeds City Council) will introduce you to the museum and the exhibition – ‘A Lasting Moment’, Marc Riboud’s photos of Leeds in the 1950s and 2000’s. After the tour you will be given a brief for contributing to expanding the Lasting Moment website when the exhibition finishes.
Great evening – very informative – looking forward to the next one and to PhotoCamp Bradford in September!
Update: PhotocampBradford hashtag is now #pcbd09
